There is also a weekly flight from Kuwait, and, during the season, several weekly from the UK, Switzerland, Holland and Scandinavia. For Domestic Flight Schedules from Bombay and Elsewhere in India (The code for Goa is "GOI", "GOA" is Genova!. Getting to the Hotel and Goa by Train With the new Konkan Railway line recently completed, this is another exciting way to get to Goa and go beyond towards the south. There is the Rajdhani Express (26 hrs) that operates only on Saturdays and Sundays and one more daily train (a bit slower) from Delhi to Goa, and the overnight Konkan Express daily from Bombay. From Cochin there is the daily Netravati Express and the Rajkot-Trivandrum Express. Unfortunately, although the countryside it passes through is spectacular and some say the construction of the line was a marvel of engineering, the trains are regularly late. Anyway if you do choose this means, then best is to get off at Tivim station, if the train stops there (the Rajdhani does not). From there the Hotel is only 20 minutes drive. Otherwise you will have to go 45' further to Margao. You may choose to hire car/ hired taxi, we can also arrange for in case of any special case Airport to Hotel Goan Clove Obviously the best means of transport from the Airport or Station is by Hired Taxi (Negotiable) . If you let us know in advance of your plans we will have you picked up. From the Airport it should cost you around Rs. 750, from Tivim Rs. 350, and from Margao station around Rs. 800. Rates subject to change without notice Tips on Flights to Goa: There are direct flights from major cities in India to Goa all year long., and between Oct-April, from UK, Holland, Switzerland and Scandinavia. Flight and Stay packages for holidays in Goa from the UK are from £500 per person per week. Negotiate hard for the flights and book early, you may get good deal.
